Although Niger State reopened schools for other students on October 4th, 2024, SS1 and JSS1 students in some regions have yet to resume due to administrative issues and delays in the promotion and transition process for students moving from primary to secondary school levels. Such delays may disrupt academic progression, affecting students' preparedness for national exams and their long-term educational outcomes.
