Gov Bago's Ambitious Health Reformation Project Brings Heart Doctors to Niger State, Delivering Life-Changing Services and Infrastructure (With Photos)
Under the leadership of Gov. Bago, there is a strong push to overhaul the health sector in the state. This endeavor is fully supported by the Niger State Government, specifically the Niger State Ministry for Primary Health Care. Acting as an intermediary between the state government and the Heart Doctors is Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri.
Gov. Bago's deep affection and commitment to transforming the health sector, particularly at the grassroots level, led him to urge Dr. Mustapha Jibril to invite the Heart Doctors to the state. The state government, under Gov. Bago's able leadership, has been instrumental in facilitating the Heart Doctors' stay in the state for the betterment of its residents.
This marks the first time the Heart Doctors have ventured into Niger State since Gov. Bago assumed office. In addition to ongoing distribution of free medications in Chanchaga, Bosso, Bida, and Mokwa Local Government Areas (LGAs), the Heart Doctors will also inaugurate a reconstructed and furnished primary health care facility in the Kompani community of Chanchaga LGA. Not only that, but they have also constructed a borehole in Jitta Kango village of Bosso LGA.
The Heart Doctors are committed to introducing even more impactful projects in Niger State, driven by the Governor's passion and dedication to the healthcare sector. Their activities are purely selfless, providing free medication and treatment to the people of Niger State. They further contribute to the communities by building schools, primary health care facilities, boreholes, providing hospital equipment, and much more.
The members of the Heart Doctors team include Mrs. Eleni Sotinou as the Team Leader, along with Dr. John Sitiriou, Mr. Pantelis Ypsilantis, Mrs. Mairi Ypsilantis, and Professor Giataganas Xenofon.
On the local front, the team consists of Hon. Aminu D. Shaba as the State Coordinator, Adams Mustapha as the State Secretary, Mohammed Ibrahim Kuta as the Local Government Coordinator, Isyaku Tanko Kuta as the Ward Coordinator, and Mohammed Nmaba in charge of protocol.
