Kwara North Shortchanged: what's The Justification Politically Governor Abdulrazak

People from the states who reacted and complained got their ministerial nominees replaced. As in the case of Kano that the people objected to the nomination of Maryam Shetty despite being Ganduje's candidate. Similarly, states like Niger State got additional nominee due to their complaint that it distabilized their rotational stausquo.
Inspite of the fact that Mohammed idris Malagi comes from the same senatorial zone with the present governor rather than having to select the nominee from another zone in the name of justice, equity and adequate representation, the people from the zone still kicked against it. But in Kwara, neither did our governor or leaders raise an eyebrow because equity hasn't been followed. The submission from the governor was still for someone from Kwara Central - how convenient.
During President Buhari's last tenor, Kwara state had two ministerial slots and non was was given to Kwara North. Alhaji Lai Mohammed is from Kwara South while Senator Gbemi is from Kwara Central. Lai spent 8 years while Gbemi spent 4 years. Hitherto, during President Jonathan, the governor was from Kwara south while the minister Bolaji Abdullahi is from Kwara Central.
It is only fair that the next ministerial nominees slot should be given to Kwara North that's Nupe speaking area from kwara in this dispensation. Moreso, Kwara North hasn't been governor of the state since since after Senator Shaba Lafiagi. All we have are mere promises and when the time comes they just shortchange our people with no empty.
The governor has been very selfish and careless about adequate distribution of both State and Federal appointments. Needless to state that Kwara State has been with the lowest cabinet member rating and has failed to even submit the list of it's commissioner nominees in the last two months. Kwara State is the only state that a serving NYSC member was nominated commissioner from Kwara North at the detriment of experienced and highly qualified administrators and technocrats from the zone
However, advocate for justice, equity, and speaking up for constituents can indeed contribute to a governor's success and recognition at the Federal level. Prioritizing fairness and representing all senatorial zones effectively can lead to positive outcomes for both the governor and the people they serve. Moreso, as the chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum, a lot is expected from you. Our people have primarily been voting for APC. Over 400 people that benefited from empower project contributed some amount used to campaign for the governor. Now most of them are back to unemployment market. Only last month, we lost almost 200 hundred people in a single mishap. Citizens of Kwara North are made second class in the state.
Injustice can lead to various negative outcomes such as social unrest, mistrust in institutions, and damage to individual well-being. It can also perpetuate cycles of inequality and discrimination. it's good to do the needful while we still can before things get out of hand in Kwara North.
