It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Dr. ALIYU JIMADA, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and esteemed member of the community. Born on 10th July 1953 to the royal family of Jimada in Pategi, KWARA STATE, Dr. Jimada leaves behind a legacy of caring, love, and dedication to his family and his work.

A man of many talents, Dr. Jimada was fluent in English, Nupe, Hausa, and Yoruba. His last position as the Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics at the Ministry of Police Affairs showcased his exceptional leadership and administrative skills. Dr. Jimada's academic journey was marked by excellence, from his early education at St. Paul's College in Zaria to his Ph.D. in Organization and Leadership from a prestigious university in the United States.

Throughout his career in the civil service, Dr. Jimada's dedication to his work was unparalleled. He held various positions, each one marked by his commitment to excellence and service to the nation. His participation in numerous courses, workshops, and seminars showcased his thirst for knowledge and his desire to always improve and grow.

Dr. Jimada's academic papers and research contributions were profound and impactful, shedding light on important issues in public administration and organizational behavior. His experiences and extra responsibilities, including his role in various government delegations and committees, highlighted his passion for making a difference in the world around him.

A humble and respected academic, Dr. Jimada touched the lives of many with his kindness, wisdom, and generosity. As Turakin Pategi, he served his community with grace and humility, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. May Allah grant him eternal peace and a place in the highest realm of Aljannah.

Rest in perfect peace, Dr. ALIYU JIMADA. Your legacy of Hard Work and Humanity will forever be remembered and cherished till Aljannah. Aameen Ya Rabbi.
