Preserving the Sanctity of Hijjab: Upholding Faithfulness and Modesty in Islam >Jumu'ah Mubarak

~~ Mahmud Ashraf

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, today we gather once again on this blessed day of Jumu'ah to worship and seek guidance from Allah. Today, I want to bring our attention to the abuse of Hijjab in our community.

Hijjab is not just a piece of cloth that we wear to cover ourselves. It is a symbol of faith and modesty in Islam. It is meant to protect us from temptation and to remind us of our commitment to Allah. However, it is disheartening to see that some of our sisters are using Hijjab in ways that go against the teachings of our religion.

Some women, ladies, and girls are using Hijjab to engage in sinful activities such as theft, adultery, and attending parties where they engage in inappropriate behavior. This is a clear abuse of Hijjab and a betrayal of our faith.

It is not just within our Muslim community that Hijjab is being abused. We see people from other faiths also using Hijjab for wrong purposes. As Muslims, we must remember that we will be held accountable for our actions on the Day of Judgment. What will we say when we are asked about how we used Hijjab?

Parents and teachers have a responsibility to educate and guide their children on the proper use of Hijjab. We must instill in our youth the importance of Hijjab as a symbol of faithfulness and modesty. It is our duty to uphold the values and teachings of Islam and to ensure that Hijjab is respected and used appropriately.

Let us not be swayed by the influences of social media or the pressures of society. Let us hold fast to our beliefs and values and honor the true purpose of Hijjab. May Allah guide us all to the straight path and grant us the strength to resist temptation and uphold the teachings of Islam. Aameen.

Jumu'ah Mubarak to you all. May Allah bless you and your families.
