Meet Hajiya Aisha Umar Halilu; Convener and National Coordinator Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu/Shettima 2023

Aisha Umar-Halilu is the Convener and National Coordinator of Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu/Shettima (PATS 4 BATS) 2023 campaign strategies and Support Team. Member Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) and Member Tinubu /Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (ICC).

As a Magazine Editor of repute, she has to her credit four national magazines which were established in almost two decades. These are namely, LeVogue, a pull-out of Leadership Newspaper; Tambari Magazine & Woman of Power Magazines under the stable of Daily Trust and presently, Zamani Magazine where she is the CEO/Publisher.

Umar- Halilu has had the privilege of interviewing some of the most prominent women in Africa. These include the likes of Winnie Mandela, Samia Nkrumah as well as former Nigerian First Ladies- Ajoke Muhammad, Maryam Abacha and Fati Abdulsalami Abubakar, among numerous personalities. This has earned her commensurate recognition both by the larger industry and her appreciative target audiences.

Today, she represents a very informed, graceful and accomplished professional, adroitly externalising her compelling vision in the nation’s evolving media space.

As the Convener and National Coordinator of Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu/Shettima (PATS 4 BATS) 2023, Hajiya Halilu has put all the necessary machinery on ground to ensure APC’s success in the 2O23 general elections.

The mission and vision of the campaign team are not only committed in getting the votes that will deliver victory to the APC and Tinubu/Shettima come 2023 but they are poised to deliver the much needed spread to ensure a smooth sail for their leaders into Aso Rock Presidential Villa by 2023.

However, the membership is diverse and composition with many different interest groups cutting across all the strata of the society in all the states and regions of the country represented.

The members are professionals made up of academics, businessmen and women, public affairs analysts, columnists and a host of other distinguished Nigerians who have been engaging the public space since the return to democracy to Nigeria in 1999 till date.

What Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Will Do

Their task basically is to engage and influence the public in a certain direction. This, they have been doing in the past and ready to do it again going forward because of the experience they gathered, insight into Nigerian politics and the strength and ability of component units. That is the leverage they had since they decided to work together in 2014 shortly before the 2015 general elections. It was this strength and ability they used to deploy in getting votes and spread for the APC candidates across the nation in 2015 and 2019 respectively.

They are also poised to do the same for Asiwaju/Shettima come 2023. Their strength and ability to deliver lie in their diversity as a group; they are committed to set goals and aspirations on their network and leverages all over the country.

Progressive Ambassadors for Tinubu/Shettima 2023 mission is to engage and mobilize Nigerians to deliver the votes and the required spread for Tinubu/Shettima ticket in 2023 in all the states and regions of the country.

The vision is to deploy votes yielding public engagement strategy that is capable of exciting voters to vote for our presidential candidates in the forth-coming 2023 general election.
