The Bida Durbar, a Festival of Splendor and Majesty in ancient city of Bida, heart of the Kin Nupe, vibrated with the glorious spectacle of the Eid-Fitr Durbar, a celebration steeped in tradition and resonating with the echoes of centuries past. The air, thick with anticipation and the sweet scent of festivity, witnessed a magnificent display of horsemanship, pageantry, and royal decree.

Etsu Yahaya Abubakar, Chairman of Niger State Traditional and Royals, presided over the grand event, his presence a testament to the enduring lineage of Bida's esteemed leadership. Under his watchful eye, the festival unfolded like a beautifully woven tapestry, its threads of color and sound intertwining to create a captivating masterpiece.

The spectacle was further enriched by the presence of distinguished title holders, each embodying the rich history and cultural heritage of the Nupe people. The Sarkin Dawaki Nupe, Dan Nagenu Nupe, and Dan Wambai Nupe, their names echoing through generations, graced the occasion with their regal bearing. And not to be outdone, the Turakin Nupe, Farmer Governor Umaru Bago, represented by his son, led a magnificent entourage, their vibrant array of attire and the rhythmic thunder of hooves adding a vibrant layer to the already captivating scene.  

The Durbar, witnessed by a global audience, showcased the profound respect for heritage and the vibrant spirit of the people. It was a resounding assertion of the enduring traditions and values of the Nupe people, a celebration that will forever be etched in the annals of Bida's glorious history. More names of those who participated in the festivities will be added to the tapestry of history as the stories of the Durbar are recounted for generations to come.
