Below; The Interview With TMG:
TMG》How do you balance your various interests, from beauty to real estate and logistics, with being a mom?
Iye》》Balance for me is about intentional living. I plan my days carefully — mornings are for family, afternoons for clients or driving, and evenings for self-care and reflection. My children motivate me to keep going, so I always remind myself that every effort I make is building a stronger future for them. I may get tired, but I don’t quit.
TMG》What's your favorite beauty tip or routine that keeps you looking and feeling great?
Iye》》Consistency and simplicity. I believe healthy skin is better than heavy makeup. My daily routine includes cleansing, moisturizing, and always using sunscreen. I also drink lots of water and try to smile more — joy is the best glow!
TMG》How did you get into real estate, and what do you enjoy most about it?
Iye》》I got into real estate out of curiosity and a love for property development. I enjoy the satisfaction that comes from helping people find their dream homes or investment properties. Real estate gives me room to grow, connect with people, and learn how value can be created through service and integrity.
TMG》As a Bolt rider, what's the most interesting or challenging experience you've had?
Iye》》There are plenty! But one that stands out was when a rider did a fake transfer and thought he had gotten away with it. I tracked him down through Facebook, shared his picture with some of his family and friends, and my phone almost exploded from the calls he received! 😂 He paid eventually — no apology though. It taught me to stay sharp and patient.
TMG》As a Bolt rider, how do you ensure your safety while on the road, especially at night or in unfamiliar areas?
Iye》》Safety comes first. I always share my live location with a trusted person before every ride. I study the route before moving, trust my instincts, and avoid isolated areas at night. I also keep my car in good condition and maintain calm professionalism even when passengers act up.
TMG》What's the most memorable pickup or drop-off experience you've had as a Bolt rider?
Iye》》One memorable ride was when a little boy told his mom to save my number as “Queen” because he thought I looked like one! Then he asked her to pay me double because, in his words, “She’s sowing a seed.” 😄 His mom laughed it off, but as a spiritual person, I took that seriously — children see things we don’t.
TMG》How do you handle difficult passengers or challenging rides, and what's your strategy for de-escalating tense situations?
Iye》》I stay calm and polite, no matter the situation. I’ve learned that anger never fixes anything on the road. If a passenger is rude or aggressive, I focus on the drive and keep conversations minimal. When necessary, I end the trip safely. I protect my peace at all costs.
TMG》How do you prioritize self-care and me-time as a busy mom and entrepreneur?
Iye》》I intentionally make time for myself, even if it’s just 30 minutes a day. Sometimes it’s a quiet bath, a face mask, or gospel music on full blast in my car. I also take time to reflect, pray, and realign — because if I’m not mentally strong, I can’t pour into others.
TMG》What advice would you give to women looking to pursue multiple passions and interests?
Iye》》Don’t wait for perfect timing — just start! Women are naturally multi-talented, and you can do more than one thing if you manage your time wisely. Don’t be ashamed of small beginnings. Stay focused, stay consistent, and never let anyone define your limits.
TMG》How do you stay organized and manage your time effectively across different ventures?
Iye》》I use a simple but powerful rule — plan ahead. I write out my to-do list daily and stick to it as much as possible. I also try to separate my work and personal hours. Discipline and structure help me stay sane and productive.
TMG》What's your favorite way to relax and unwind after a long day?
Iye》》After a long day, I love to take a warm shower, light-scented candles, and watch something light or listen to music. Sometimes I just sit quietly and thank God for protection and strength to get through another day. That moment of gratitude resets my soul.
TMG》Can you share a success story or achievement you're particularly proud of in your various endeavors?
Iye》》One of my proudest moments was when a client I met while driving Bolt ended up buying a property through me. It reminded me that no hustle is small — your next opportunity could come from anywhere. Every ride, every smile, every connection counts.
TMG》How do you navigate the challenges of being a woman in male-dominated industries like logistics and real estate?
Iye》》With confidence and respect. I don’t see myself as “just a woman” — I see myself as a professional. I show up prepared, speak with clarity, and do my job excellently. I’ve learned that when people realize you know your work, they respect you regardless of gender.
