Personality Profile of Dr. Ndagi Abdullahi; AMANA NUPE, The Prolific Writer From KinNupe

Dr. Ndagi Abdullahi is a prolific writer per excellence driven by talent and energy. As someone always bursting with ideas, his writings are inspiring because of the passion he puts into his characters and situations which motivate his authorial energies. Indeed, Dr Abdullahi is one of the best writers who has devoted his life to creating a parallel world from his imagination.

He's an inspirational Public figure and mentor in KinNupe whom future leaders can emulate. It is no wonder that the Etsu Nupe conferred on him the title of Custodian of Nupe culture (AMANA NUPE).

Dr. Ndagi was born on the 8th of December 1972 at Sokoto. Both of his parents are Nupe from Bida.

 

Education

Ndagi Abdullahi had his primary and secondary education in Minna, Niger State. And his tertiary education at various universities within and outside Nigeria. He read many courses in different universities and now he has a number of different first and second degree BScs and PhDs in different academic fields to his credit. His official BSc he formally presents before the general public is his B.A. (Hons) History.

Works

Ndagi Abdullahi is currently an Associate Professor of History. He is also a visiting professor to a number of universities outside Nigeria. He's also the Provost of Assi College of Health Sciences. He also works with a number of NGOs within and outside Nigeria.

 

Writings

Dr Abdullahi is the most prolific writer not only in KinNupe but the whole of Nigeria. Estimates of the number of books he has written variously range variously from 500 books to 1500 books. On his official website Ndagi Abdullahi listed some 1100 books as the books he has written including the published and unpublished ones.

 

Efforts are currently ongoing to get all the books written by Ndagi Abdullahi available on Amazon Kindle in both e-book and hard copy formats. There is also an ongoing documentation process to get Ndagi Abdullahi recognized by Guinness World Records as the man who has written the highest number of books in the world.

Dr Abdullahi also has to credit hundreds of peer-review journal articles and online write-ups.

 

Nupe Renaissance

Ndagi Abdullahi is the Chairman of Nupe Cultural and Resource Centre, NCRC, the leading Nupe research centre in the world founded by His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar the Etsu Nupe. He has written over 300 books on various aspects of Nupe culture, history, language and general sociology. He is incontestably the most prolific Nupe author in history and will probably remain so for many future generations to come.

 

His larger-than-life presence on the internet with a particularly large followership on Facebook has made him the Number One most popular Nupe man in the world. His fame and popularity as the leading social media influencer in Niger State and the rest of Nupeland has also seen him becoming one of the most influential people in Nupe historical scholarship, Nupe politics, and otherwise.

 

Dr Ndagi Abdullahi is most famous for his controversial theory of Nupe The Origin which asserts that all the tribes and ethnicities in Nigeria originated from Nupe. He has been preaching and promoting his Nupe The Origin theory on the internet for close to two decades now.

 

His large followership on the social media and his relentlessly redefining of Nupe history and culture has led to a Nupe Renaissance in recent times. Through Ndagi Abdullahi the Nupe people have now become so proud of being Nupe.

 

Pan-Africanism and Afrocentrism

Ndagi Abdullahi has spent decades researching into both Pan-Africanism and Afrocentrism. He has written several books on both Pan-Africanism and Afrocentrism. He also redefined Afrocentrism by shifting the cradle of human culture and civilization from the Mesopotamia-Egypt fertile crescent to Middle Africa (West Africa, Central Africa and East Africa combined).

 

Royal Title

Because of his immense and unparalleled contribution to the progress and development of the Nupe Nation, Ndagi Abdullahi was turbaned as the Amana Nupe by His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Abubakar the Etsu Nupe.

 

The royal tile Amana Nupe signifies that Ndagi Abdullahi is the Custodian of Nupe culture not only in Nupeland but worldwide. And truly, Ndagi Abdullahi has become the leading defender, definer and custodian of Nupe culture and history in modern times.
