The Turbaning Ceremony of DCG Aliyu Galadima Saidu (Rtd) PhD as the new Galadiman Gari Nupe was truly a magnificent event to remember. Held on the 7th of December 2024 at the Wadata palace in Bida, Niger State, the ceremony was graced by the presence of numerous prominent individuals including the Governor, Ministers, traditional rulers, higher ranking officers in the Nigeria Customs Services, and other paramilitary officials.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as friends and family members of the newly turbaned Galadiman Gari Nupe beamed with pride at the honor bestowed upon him by HRH Alh (Dr) Yahaya Abubakar CFR, the Etsu Nupe. The colorful event featured traditional horse riding by the celebrant, his family, friends, and well-wishers, adding to the joyous celebration.

The occasion was not only memorable but also symbolized a significant moment in the history of Bida and Niger State as a whole. As the community comes together to celebrate the new Galadiman Gari Nupe, we can only wish him success, prosperity, and happiness in his new role.
