HRH Mai Borgu's Milestone Anniversary: BTSO Hosts Royal Culinary Extravaganza - Honoured by Distinguished Guests
In a grand celebration, the Bola Tinubu Support Organization (BTSO) hosted a FREE CULLINARY TRAINING ON INTERCONTINENTAL DISHES in honour of the 10th anniversary of HRH Mai Borgu, Barr. Mohammad Sani Haliru Dantoro, the Emir of Borgu, who is also the Grand Patron of BTSO. The event, held in New Bussa, Borgu, brought together 100 women from the emirate, who were trained on the art of preparing exquisite international dishes.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates of participation to a select few, courtesy of the Grand Patron of BTSO, _BARR. MOHAMMAD SANI HALIRU DANTORO, THE EMIR OF BORGU, MAI BORGU_. The Emir, who was accompanied by dignitaries, including Dr. Abubakar Abdullahi Kuso (Dan Wadatan Nupe), Executive Director, Planning and Design, Upper Niger River Basin Development Authority, and Founder of BTSO, commended the organization for its efforts in empowering women and promoting culinary excellence.
The BTSO team, led by Haj. Maryam Hali, Acting National Coordinator, also paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Lafiagi and Queen Safiya, the 3rd wife of HRH Mai Borgu, who hails from Bida and is a sister to the group.
The event was a grand success, thanks to the tireless efforts of the BTSO leadership, including Chef Mohammad Ndayako (Chef Bk CULLINARY and events Management), Comr. Sen. Adamu Alhassan (Mr White), National Dir. Administration, BTSO, Chef Mohammd Sani Ceceko, Chef HAUWA Maijeeda Aliyu, and Chef Firdaus Mohammad Babadoko, among others.
The beneficiaries of the Borgu Emirate, who participated in the training, expressed their gratitude to BTSO and HRH Mai Borgu for the opportunity to learn and upgrade their culinary skills. The event was a testament to the power of collaboration and the commitment of BTSO to empowering women and promoting cultural exchange through culinary excellence.
However, the 10th anniversary of HRH Mai Borgu, Barr. Mohammad Sani Haliru Dantoro, the Emir of Borgu, was a grand celebration that brought together prominent figures and traditional leaders from across the country. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Farmer Governor Umar Bago, Former Governor Abubakar Bello Lolo, some Senators and ministers. Royal Highness like the Sultan of Sokoto, HRH Alhaji Saad Abubakar, Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahya Abubakar, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Sanusi Lamido, and Emir of Lafiagi, among others from Southern, Eastern parts of Nigeria. The presence of these dignitaries added to the grandeur and colour of the celebrations, making it a memorable event for the people of Borgu Emirate
