On the 28th of December 2024, the people of Lapai witnessed the beautiful royal union of two prominent families as Engr A.A Lapai (Shaba Lapai) representing the Etsu Mohammadu Mainasara family and Late Alhaji Nma Saidu (Nda Madaki Lapai) blessed the marriage of their children, Amina Abdulkadir (Ameera) and CSI Mustapha Mahmud. The ceremony was a grand affair, with guests ranging from important personalities to traditional title holders and royals. Dignitaries from the Niger State Government, including representatives of Former Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, were in attendance to grace the occasion of one of his Director General's daughter's wedding.
